In 2019, Cyber Hawk was selected out of more than 18,000 applicants to participate in UNLEASH — described as the world’s largest innovation lab for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The programme brought together talent from across the globe to collaborate on technology solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. For Cyber Hawk, it was both a validation of the work we’d been doing and a major accelerator for how we think about building software that matters.
What we learned
Being in a room with problem-solvers from over 100 countries reinforced something we already believed: the best software is built when you deeply understand the people it’s meant to serve. Every great system starts with genuine curiosity about how someone lives, works, and makes decisions.
That mindset now shapes how we approach every project — whether it’s a case management platform for a law firm or a personnel system for a government ministry.
Representing Antigua and Barbuda
That same year, Cyber Hawk was trusted by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Affairs to represent Antigua and Barbuda’s software development industry at the Latin America Export Services Summit. It was a proud moment — and a reminder that what we build here matters beyond our shores.
What’s next
We continue to build technology that serves real needs — in the Caribbean and internationally. If you’re working on something that matters and need a software team that takes it seriously, we’d love to hear from you.
